How KrakenKeys works

Buying a game

1. 1

   Find the game

Search from the bar at the top of any page, or browse by genre and price.

2. 2

   Compare the prices

Each game page lists every store that has it. Stores marked Official get their keys straight from the publisher.

3. 3

   Buy from the store

The Shop Now button takes you to that store's own site. You pay them and they send you the key.

4. 4

   Activate it on Steam

In the Steam app, open the Games menu, choose Activate a Product on Steam and paste the key. The game then sits in your library like any other.

Official stores (9)

Steam, publishers' own stores, and shops the publisher sells through directly.

Keyshops (12)

Key resellers and marketplaces. Often cheaper. I only list ones I've vetted.

Keyshops show by default. If you'd rather only see official stores, turn off Enable Keyshops in the Account menu.

How the site pays for itself

Some of the links to stores are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the store pays me a small cut. This never affects where the store gets shown in the price table. By default, its alway shows the cheapest store. The affiliate links help keep KrakenKeys running.

It's a one-person project. If it's saved you money and you'd like to chip in directly, you can buy me a coffee.
