By accessing or using KrakenKeys, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

You may use KrakenKeys for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to reverse engineer its functionality, or collect data without permission.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. Report any unauthorised access to us immediately.

KrakenKeys offers a free Developer API. Generating an API key from your account requires you to accept these Terms as they apply to API use specifically:

• Requests are rate-limited per key. Excessive or abusive request patterns may result in temporary throttling or permanent revocation of your key.
• You may not use the API to build a product that resells, republishes, or redistributes KrakenKeys' price data as a competing price-comparison service.
• You may not attempt to bypass, strip, or replace the affiliate redirect links (/out/{id}) returned by the API with direct store links.
• Your API key is personal and must not be shared publicly (for example, committed to a public code repository) or used to impersonate another user or application.
• We reserve the right to revoke API access at our discretion for violations of these terms, without prior notice.

KrakenKeys is a price comparison tool and does not sell any products directly. When you click through to a store, any purchase you make is with that store, and their terms apply.

We match thousands of games and editions across many stores and work hard to keep listings accurate, but mistakes can happen, both on our side and on the stores' own pages. Before you buy, please check that the product name, edition, platform and region shown on the store's page are what you want. The product shown at the store's checkout is the product you will receive.

If you spot a listing that looks wrong, please report it so we can fix it.

Some links to stores on KrakenKeys are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the store may pay KrakenKeys a small commission. This never changes the price you pay, and it doesn't affect which store is shown as cheapest.

To the extent permitted by law, KrakenKeys is not liable for losses arising from purchases made with third-party stores, including incorrect products, pricing errors, or availability issues. Questions about refunds, replacements or key problems should be directed to the store you bought from. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of KrakenKeys after changes implies acceptance of the new terms. Check this page regularly for updates.
