When insurance companies dodge the responsibility, it’s up to you to save your daughter’s life. This will require some dirty work and shady clientele, but you have no other choice, right? When the big boss calls once again, bring a bucket and a mop cause you will really need them. Are you up for the challenge?
Clean Smarter, Not Harder
Every mess tells a different story, and every job demands a different approach. Switch between tools, combine their strengths, and plan your moves carefully to clean faster and smarter.
Investigate the Crime Scene
Look beyond the stains and scattered debris. Search every corner for evidence, collect what’s valuable, and dispose of what shouldn’t be found. Piece together fragments of the story hidden in blood trails, broken objects, and forgotten clues. And if some expensive watch goes missing, no one should care, right? The owner’s already dead.
Many Places, One Job
No two crime scenes are the same. Each location holds fragments of a different story. From quiet, unsettling interiors to large, complex spaces, every mission offers new circumstances, new challenges, and a narrative for you to piece together as you clean through the mess.
Arm’s Race
Sometimes, the equipment you have is not enough and needs an extra oomph. If your lamps or flashlights are not strong enough, get new ones! If there is too much blood outside, get a powerwash upgrade! So, before every mission, check the perks available and boost your cleaning arsenal. If you can make your job easier... why not take that opportunity?
It’s about Family
With all the gruesome things you will see and do on every job, you must not forget that you are doing this for her. The life of a single father has its challenges, and you need to overcome them all.
Added with “Nightmare Update”:
Into the Nightmare
Some locations have a darker reflection waiting to be uncovered. Kovalsky’s nightmares transform known crime scenes into a twisted, unsettling version of itself. If you think you’ve mastered the job, it’s time to prove it where the nightmare begins.
True Cleaner’s Mode
No hints. No hand-holding. Just you and the mess. In this unforgiving mode, every stain must be found on your own, every detail carefully inspected without guidance.
Polished Look
Unlock unique skins for your sponge, mop, ozonator, power washer, and more as you explore the crime scenes and complete challenges. Customize your loadout, swap styles whenever you like, and bring a personal touch to every cleanup.
Added with “Communiti Update”:
Communiti Maps
Added two brand-new side maps as a token of our gratitude to the players who make the game special. Alter Ego is inspired by a player’s winning idea from our community contest, and Development Hell lets you explore the bizarre curiosities of game development.
