But Why?

But Why?

is a short, atmospheric journey about a penguin who chooses to walk toward the mountain and never turns back.

There is no grand prophecy.

No heroic destiny.

No one waiting at the top.

Only wind.

Only snow.

Only the decision to keep moving.

What Awaits You

Slippery terrain shifts beneath your feet.

Powerful winds push you off balance.

Momentum can be your greatest ally or your worst enemy.

Sometimes you glide effortlessly.

Sometimes you lose control.

Sometimes the only thing you can do… is slow down and endure.

Alone or Together

Walk the frozen path alone in quiet reflection.

Or face the mountain with up to 4 players, sharing the cold, the chaos, and the climb.

No competition.

No race.

Just persistence.

No Answers. Only a Question.

There is no explicit narrative.

No dialogue.

No guidance.

The game doesn’t ask what you are doing.

It asks:

Why are you still walking?
