Best Game Key Sites in 2026 — Ranked by Price Data
We compared prices across 180,000+ games and 20+ stores to find the best game key sites in 2026. Here's who actually offers the best deals — backed by real data.

Steam prices are high. Everyone knows it. And while Steam sales are great, you don’t have to wait for one. Game key sites sell Steam keys at a discount all year round.
However, there are so many of them - it can be hard to pick which one to use. Some are official retailers, partnered with publishers & developers. Some are grey market resellers. Some are marketplaces where anyone can sell keys. A few should be avoided like the plague.
We track live prices across 20+ stores and 180,000+ games on KrakenKeys, so we’ve seen the data. We also research each store extensively, so we’d like to think we’re qualified enough to decide who’s actually worth using in 2026.
Quick Comparison
Every store listed here, and on KrakenKeys — has been manually vetted. We’ve used them ourselves over the years and only list stores we’re comfortable recommending. The sites you’ve probably heard to avoid (G2A and similar) aren’t displayed on our site for exactly that reason.
That said, it’s worth understanding how each type of store works, because it affects your experience, particularly on marketplaces, where you’re buying from an individual seller rather than the platform itself. Check seller ratings before you buy.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the stores we have data for. We haven’t listed all 20, but a variety of different store types - just for an overview.
| Store | Type | Avg. Saving vs Steam |
|---|---|---|
| Green Man Gaming | Official retailer | 42.6% |
| Fanatical | Official retailer | 31.2% |
| Loaded | Key reseller | 62.8% |

| K4G | Key Reseller | 63.9% |

Official Retailers vs Key Resellers vs Marketplaces
Before getting into the list, it’s worth understanding what type of store you’re buying from, because they work differently.
Official retailers (Green Man Gaming, Fanatical, Humble Store, IndieGala) are licensed by publishers to sell keys. The keys are 100% above board, and the retailer has a relationship with the developer. Discounts are smaller but entirely risk-free.
Then we have ‘Keystores’ or ‘Keyshops’ - These can be toggled off in KrakenKeys, if you’d like.
Key resellers (Loaded (formerly CDKeys), K4G, Difmark, GameBoost) buy keys in bulk from cheaper regions and sell them globally. Legal for consumers, but publishers aren’t fans. Keys work, discounts are significant.
Marketplaces (Kinguin, Eneba, Driffle) are platforms where individual sellers list keys. In some cases, like Driffle, the marketplace (store) also sells keys. Quality varies by seller. Can be great, can be risky. Keys are obtained through various methods. Often the sellers are traders, who trade keys for other digital items - and then sell the game keys. For strores that have their own listing, it’s always better to opt for one of those keys - even if it costs a little more. This is because their support team will be better equipped to handle any issues.
The Best Game Key Sites in 2026
1. Green Man Gaming — Best Official Retailer
Green Man Gaming is one of the most established publisher-partnered retailers online. Fully licensed, so you’re buying with zero concerns about key legitimacy. Discounts are slightly more conservative than key stores, but at an average of 42.6% off Steam, they’re far from expensive, and for peace of mind on a big purchase, GMG is hard to beat.
Best for: Buyers who want fully official keys, big releases Typical saving: 42.6% off Steam
2. Eneba — Best Experience
Eneba has the best website of any store we’ve come across in this space — clean, fast, and genuinely easy to buy from. They run frequent promotions and cover a wide range of titles. Oh, and they have the highest average saving of everyone on this list at 66.5%. Plus their logo is cool.
Best for: Ease of use, regional deals, frequent promotions, logo enjoyers Typical saving: 66.5% off Steam
3. K4G — Biggest Selection
K4G (Keys4Games) carries more deals than any other store we track on KrakenKeys, with the second highest average saving on this list. The combination of range and price means that whatever you’re looking for, K4G will more often than not have it cheaper than Steam.
Best for: Finding deals on less mainstream titles Typical saving: 63.9% off Steam
4. Loaded (formerly CDKeys) — Most Established Reseller
Loaded has been trading since 2010 and has over 300,000 Trustpilot reviews — making them the most established name in key reselling. Unlike marketplace sites, they source and sell keys directly, so there’s proper accountability if anything goes wrong. Discounts are consistently strong on AAA titles and new releases.
Best for: AAA games, new releases, first-time key buyers Typical saving: 62.8% off Steam
5. Driffle — Best for Price
Driffle is one of the cheapest stores we track (especially with our discount code), consistently undercutting others on a wide range of titles. Their website is modern and easy to use, and their support team is genuinely one of the better ones in this space — which matters when you’re buying digital keys.
Best for: Getting the lowest price, fast and easy buying experience Typical saving: 62.7% off Steam
6. Difmark — Widest Catalogue
Difmark has over 21,000 deals tracked on KrakenKeys — one of the largest catalogues of any store we list. They’re not always the outright cheapest, but the breadth of what they carry makes them worth checking, particularly for DLC and older titles.
Best for: DLC, older titles, hard-to-find keys Typical saving: 62.3% off Steam
7. Playsum — Best Community
Playsum is a smaller store with around 2,000 deals on KrakenKeys — we’re actively working to increase this, because the deals are great. What sets them apart is their community focus, which makes them stand out in a space that’s otherwise fairly transactional. One to watch as they grow.
Best for: Community-oriented buyers, niche titles Typical saving: 54.7% off Steam
8. Fanatical — Best for Bundles
Fanatical is publisher-approved, meaning the keys they sell are fully licensed, no grey area. Their average saving is lower than the key store on this list, but that’s not really the point. Fanatical’s bundles — where you can grab 5–10 games for a fraction of the individual price — are some of the best value in PC gaming. If bundles or older titles are what you’re after, they’re the first place to check.
Best for: Bundles, games over a year old, buyers who want official keys Typical saving: 31.2% off Steam
The Rest of the List
These eight are our personal favourites, but every store on KrakenKeys has been vetted by us — we’ve used them ourselves and only list stores we’re comfortable recommending. The full list is always available on KrakenKeys, where you can compare all of them side by side for any game.
Which Is Cheapest?
If there was a true answer to this - you wouldn’t need price comparison sites. However, it depends on the game. Loaded might win on the newer AAA releases, whereas Driffle may undercut everyone on niche games. Stores like GMG (GreenManGaming) have awesome flash sales, that beat everyone.
This is exactly why KrakenKeys exists. Rather than checking 20 sites manually, you can search for any game on KrakenKeys and see every store’s price side by side.
Tips for Buying Steam Game Keys Safely
- Use a marketplace with buyer protection — PayPal is your friend
- Check seller ratings on marketplace sites before buying
- Be wary of prices that seem impossibly cheap — if a game is £50 on Steam, and most stores are selling it for £30 - yet one is selling it for £0.50, something may be off.
- Redeem keys quickly after purchase — if a key is going to have issue, you want to catch it early.
- Utilise your Steam wishlist - The Steam wishlist is a great tool. I use it a lot, helps me keep an eye on games I actually want to play. You can also use our Steam wishlist calculator to instantly see all the games on your wishlist, and where you can get them cheaper.
