About KrakenKeys
A Steam price comparison site. No ads, no clutter. Just the deals.
Why I built it
The price comparison sites I was using were slow, cluttered and full of ads.
The deals were out there, but finding a simple price took far longer than it should. So I built something cleaner and faster, designed around how people actually look for deals.
KrakenKeys launched in 2025 and now covers over 180,000 Steam games across 21 stores.
Who's behind it
Me! I studied Computer Games Technology at university, I've been writing software for over six years, and I've always loved playing games. KrakenKeys is a blend of two things I love.
This means that every suggestion, bug report or contact form is read by me. I really enjoy implementing suggested features, so please send them in!
What my values are
- No ads or paid placements
- Everything on the site is there because it's useful. Nobody pays to be listed higher.
- Open about affiliate links
- Some stores pay a small commission if you buy through a link here. It keeps the site running and never changes your price.
- Shaped by the people using it
- Several features exist because someone asked for them. If you have an idea, I'd like to hear it.
- Always being built
- I use KrakenKeys every day, and I keep working to make it better. It's a true passion project, and I really enjoy working on it.
